Employer Online makes it easier to manage employees’ super contributions and is ideal for employers with less than 20 employees. With this user friendly application you can add and edit employee information and submit electronic contribution data. Contribution records are secure and only accessible with your employer number and unique password. Payment can be made electronically through your bank or other financial institution.
Method of payment
There are various options available for employers to pay contributions to QIEC Super if you use Employer Online:
- BPAY® - payments are made from your organisation’s bank account to QIEC Super using internet or phone banking. Contact your financial institution to check you can make payments via BPAY.
- Direct Debit - if you wish to set up a Direct Debit request, please contact our Client Contact Centre on 1300 360 507 for assistance.
- Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) - contact our Client Contact Centre for account details.
Superannuation Guarantee (SG) obligations
Contributions must be submitted at least one business banking day before the SG deadline to meet your SG obligations, and to avoid ATO penalties and ensure that contributions are tax deductible. If you pay by EFT or BPAY, the payment will need to go through the banking system and may require one business day to clear. If you pay by Direct Debit, an electronic file of direct debits will be submitted the following business banking day after you have submitted your data through Employer Online.
